Hydor's Koralia Evolution 1500 gph is a new and innovative wavemaker and circulation pump designed for small reef and freshwater aquariums. The Koralia Evolution's unique design and advanced technology ensure a continuous and powerful water flow that can be freely directed, thanks to its special sphere-shaped connection and the exclusive combination of a suction cup and magnet support.
This high-performance pump boasts a low energy consumption and quick, easy maintenance. Featuring a cable protector, the Koralia Evolution is ideal for use in tanks with urchins, triggers, puffers, and parrot fish. Unlike the non-Evolution Koralia pumps, the Koralia Evolution can be connected to a Wavemaker. However, if you are using the Hydor Koralia Wavemaker, you will need to use one of the Koralia 12V Controllable Powerheads.
The Koralia Evolution 1500 pump incorporates a new and improved vibration-absorbing magnet and suction cup support, allowing it to be safely positioned in tanks with glass or acrylic up to 1/2 inch thick. The innovative shaft-less impeller technology delivers a flow rate of 1500 gph, making it suitable for tanks ranging from 90 to 175 gallons, both in freshwater and marine environments.
Compared to previous Koralia models, the Koralia Evolution 1500 boasts a smaller design while maintaining similar flow rates. It consumes 50% less power and delivers up to 20% more water flow, thanks to its advanced technology. The sphere joint allows for adjustable flow direction, ensuring optimal water circulation in your aquarium.
